It is hard to please everyone in my family, but everyone loved the Shepherd's Pie I made, using this product. My picky son asked me to make this often, so here I am looking to buy more!

I started buying these packets at Kroger on a whim and everyone loves our dinners when I make this meal. I usually use a low fat/organic beef and at least a two inch sprig of rosemary and at least two cups of vegetable medley with this mix. Yum! When you buy this pack you end of saving some money but be aware that it will take awhile to get here in the states since they deliver this from the UK.

I love shepherd's pie and have made it many times, but I've found it to be hit and miss, not always as tasty as I'd like. Then I found Colman's shepherd's pie mix in the grocery store. It was a bit pricey, but I tried it anyway. Well, what a difference! It is absolutely DELICIOUS, and makes every shepherd's pie a success. My grandson, six years old, requests it every time he visits me, and the two-year-old loves it as well. I do suggest adding a bit more water than it recommends, as it is very thick when prepared according to the directions on the package. I also add corn to it, which is extra delicious. You can customize it any way you like; it's the combination of spices in the package that make all the difference. It's not too expensive if you buy it in quantity- I gave some of it out as Christmas presents!
